I saw a new vision of Jesus

I saw a new vision of Jesus,
A view I’d not seen here before,
Beholding in glory so wondrous
With beauty I had to adore.
I stood on the shores of my weakness,
And gazed at the brink of such fear;
‘Twas then that I saw Him in newness,
Regarding Him fair and so dear.

My Saviour will never forsake me,
Unveiling His merciful face,
His presence and promise almighty,
Redeeming His loved ones by grace.
In shades of the valley’s dark terror,
Where hell and its horror hold sway,
My Jesus will reach out in power,
And save me by His only way.

For yonder a light shines eternal,
Which spreads through the valley of gloom;
Lord Jesus, resplendent and regal,
Drives fear far away from the tomb.
Our God is the end of the journey,
His pleasant and glorious domain;
For there are the children of mercy,
Who praise Him for Calvary’s pain.

  1. Solar heating tubes employ sunlight and not gas for heat, thus, chances of gas leakage is nil.

    Therefore, corresponding less land space is required.
    The arrival of DIY solar panels is expected to change the way an
    average home is powered.

  2. I think that what you said was very logical. But, think about this, what if you
    added a little content? I mean, I don’t want to tell you
    how to run your website, however suppose you added a headline to possibly
    get folk’s attention? I mean I saw a new vision of Jesus | Exercised
    to Discern is kinda plain. You might look at Yahoo’s front page and
    see how they create post headlines to grab viewers to open the links.
    You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say.
    In my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.

  3. What beautiful thoughts! This lovely hymn has been known to me for over 35 years, but I have been on the far side of the sea in America for 20 and the circles I move in do not know it. I had a touch of homesickness for my earthly home and a yearning for my heavenly home as I sang it.
